Bonus Sunday Zoom?

It was a good, enjoyable call. I checked out at the Sumo discussion, as I have no clue and it had been a long day with an afternoon/evening at the in-laws.
Sumo is very interesting, and pretty easy to get into. If you’re curious, join one of our watch zooms, and we can help you.

I've thought about that, and almost stayed on. I may yet join you all, but last night I was exhausted. Right now, the thought of huge men, clearly poster children for heart disease, slam into one another is not appealing. In time that feeling will pass and I'll simply enjoy the sport.

Once you watch a few matches, you’ll realize they aren’t huge fat guys, they actually are very muscular and extremely athletic. It makes you look at them differently.

Round the midsection sure. Force = Mass * Acceleration. It’s physics. Large muscle mass loaded up with some fat poundage means a lot of force at contact.
But look at their legs, I’d argue it’s more muscle than fat.

I recognize their strength, athleticism, and devotion to the sport. 30+ years of nursing have imparted to me a desire to live a healthy lifestyle. It's just hard to watch.
