I just scanned this entire thread to see if the Bingo caller was announcing an extension to the start date for calls....or the delivery of cards. Seems that neither has occurred. This may be the earliest appearance of the pitchforks and torches.

1. I've decided to keep the sign-ups open for a few days longer to hopefully get more players

Sorry, don't make me call in the constable. You said sign-ups would be extended. Not the start date. It has been common practice to allow sign-ups AFTER the start of the game.
