Here's my real Eggnog recipe.

In Shaker add
.5 oz simple syrup
.5 oz Luxardo Liquer
2 oz bourbon or do 1 oz bourbon 1 oz cognac
1 egg

Dry shake vigoursly

Then add ice to shaker and lightly shake for about 20 seconds
Strain into rocks glass
Top with milk

Garnish with fresh nutmeg and a cherry
