Good morning Players!

Welcome to our first day of calls!

I’ll start you off with a nice easy call:
1) Duodenum

Remember you can still sign up!
 
Call 2:

The nephron (which includes the glomerulus) can be found in this organ (the name of which is your call).


Call 3:

Playing hand on a “hard body” with yourself is tough to do (so this is not a genitalia joke/call Steven et al), but I’ve know a few neurosurgeons who claim to have lasted more than 10 hours in the OR with their hand on one.


Call 4:

Your heart has two pumping chambers that send blood away from the heart. The right sends deoxygenated blood to the lungs and left sends oxygenated blood out to the rest of your body. The name of these chambers is your call.


Call 5:

The semimembranosus, semitendinosus and biceps femoris are better know to the laity by this collective name.
 
So it’s going to be helpful if you know Greek and Latin for this game (just as a little hint). Both languages make use of wonderful suffixes that adjust the meaning of a word.


Probably my favorite of them all is “-oid” which pretty much translates into “kind of looks like a”

Everyone loves to think medicine is this extremely precise thing, while doctors speaking to each other are often using fancy words to say stuff like “well… it’s a wrist bone that kinda looks like a boat”
