Barrister & Mann soaps.......still my all around favorite brand!

B&M is on my list to try in the near future. I have to cool it on acquiring anymore soaps for a little while...the mrs. is starting to keep track. Based on those pictures though they seem really good. Also from the pictures the closest comp from what I have tried would probably be Stirling which I really enjoy.

Thanks, & yes Stirling makes a really slick wet lather, especially the sheep tallow base Rod uses like Scotts Pine Sheep. Good stuff

Any word on when the Taiga scent returns? I noticed he no longer has the upcoming releases tab on the website anymore.

That was a super limited run which I believe sold old immediately last month if I remember correctly. I was hoping to snag a couple of tubs, but failed miserably. I haven't seen any on the secondary market either. I was hoping for a full run.

😟 Thanks, Ben.

I have a sample of their new Ravish which I plan to first use tomorrow. I actually like the scent as it is IMO in the same vein scentwise as A&E Vanille de Tabac which is great. (y)

I know they advertise their soaps to work in a wide range of water hardness.... but.... I’ve been on “city” water” since the end of March in my new home, after being on country “well” water w/ water softener since 2014, and their soaps now SHINE with the city water. B&M was always “meh, ok” for me but they are now one of my favs. As consistent as WSP, for me.
