Blackland Tradere / GEM Diamond Glide
Morris & Forndran / Sabini
Mitchell's Wool Fat Shave Soap
Alum
Quinn's cucumber mint witch hazel
British Sterling Aftershave splash
CBL Barber Powder
British Sterling EdT

Old School British Goodness for a Tuesday shave. Hints of England and the West Coast as well with the Morris & Forndran and the Blackland Tradere. With a brand new GEM Diamond Glide it provided an extremely smooth close shave. MWF, always provides a great lather. The Tradere, like the original is very aggressive, however with a light touch provides a wonderful DSBBS shave. Too bad both the Original and the Blackland versions are no longer made. Finished off with the Magic Alchemy that is CBL Barber Powder. This stuff morphs to match any fragrance you are wearing, and even enhances it.

Finished off with British Sterling for the win, a powdery finish with a great citrus opening, perfect for summer, or climbing into your Spitfire for a fly-about

103 yesterday and only 94 today, so the jackets come out, LOL Lyka, being a Husky, decided today at 6 am was time to go exploring, dug out of the yard and what was a nice Tuesday morning became a SAR Mission. When found she was "invited" to come back through her escape point. I think she thought we would just place her in the car, but after having to take 80lbs through a small hole under the fence, and getting dirty, she had some thoughts on her rescue, she is now avoiding eye contact and sulking after being verbally scolded by me and the boss, as she was extremely stressed over the event-

Never did I think I would be purchasing Pet "Air Tags" with Geo Fencing and GPS tracking, but know she knows AI and Big Brother are watching

Have a Terrific Tuesday Folks05.12.2026.jpeg

The legend that is fine Italian citrus. A nod to aqua di parma. It is just a fantastic soap. Used the Tradere again, and finished off with CBL barber powder, Thayers Lemon, lemon witch hazel, and Panama Daytona, EDT

ADSBBS shaved to be sure and a great way to start my work week

Have a good day folks

A rough night of sleep, so I needed something to really pick me up for work today. So the fantastic West Indies lime by Stirling soaps was the choice.

A very nice three pass shave with the vector, and the Paladin PK 47 on lather duty, finished up with the West Indies lime, aftershave CBL Barber powder. And Sterling Mediterranean man for the frag.

At the Ranch:
A nice day weather Wise with temps in the low 90s. The mornings have been beautiful with temps in the 60s as stated above a rough night of sleep last night so coffee it was on the agenda with a quad shot this morning.

Have a good day, everybody

Back to Italy today, with a soap from the archives. This soap made by razorock has been in the stable for quite some time I would characterize this as a creamy version of adp.

A very nice three pass straight razor shave today with the JP for DSBBS

At the ranch:
Temps in the 90s today still having trouble sleeping, however, this weekend is supposed to get down in the 80s with a Monday low in the 50s, which is unheard of for me, but we will take it

Hope everyone enjoys their Friday

A barbershop inspired shave for my last day in the barbershop for the week. It has been an extremely busy week, so I thought this would be the perfect shaved to finish it all off.

A little bit of adopted acres, CBL, and the GOAT rive gauch pour homme

A great shave today

Have a nice Saturday

Was out most of the Day ( See Below ), and decided a nice evening shave would be in order, and after our activities today, a "ferny" shave was in order with MdC, Castle Forbes, Signore Sorrentino, Thiers-Issard, and CBL Barber Powder. What a wonderful thing to do for the night, LOL

At the Ranch:

Up early today to head to 9157 Feet and Mt. Lemmon ski valley for a German Breakfast at the Iron Door Restaurant. Potato pancakes, German Home Fries, Bratwurst, Marble Rye, Eggs, and of course, Mountain berry strudel. A wonderful start to the search for Cherry Trees that @AvocadoQueen deposited seeds fro about 6 yrs ago. No Joy, but we will keep searching. Meanwhile...... The pooches enjoyed Peanut Butter, treats and the couches of the Den while watching the PGA, and the soothing voice of Jim Nance, LOL
