Well, back to the shop and back to work after recovery. This dental surgery was a little bit rough and I didn’t do much on Monday or Tuesday that was round one round two will happen two weeks from now all thanks to a previous dentist and oral surgeon that didn’t know what the hell they were doing.

Anyway, this mishmash of a shave is somewhat odd and somewhat a summer shave, especially for a cold, dreary, and snowflake ridden morning

The Stirling Lime is always great. As are all the other characters something new today was the Gillette aftershave gel. I’ve been looking at this for years. I wanted to try some in the shop so I picked up two bottles. It is not bad and I would say it fits somewhere below, Nivea 2-1 and the Omega Aquae gel. But not bad for an inexpensive supermarket aftershave I’ll try it in the shop and see what my customers think.

Finished off with Azzaro Wild mint for the win

Have a great day folks

Quick and easy, for a groggy morning. Proraso provides a great shave for not a ton of effort which today was needed since I was half asleep

Finished off with the eye opening Litsea Cubebe wh and the splash and talc

At the Ranch:
The reason for the lack of quality sleep and yhe groggy quick DE shave was major storms last night. 60-70 mile an hour winds and heavy rain and sleet, and even some lightning, kept waking me up, so a sleep deprived night and a cold day to follow

Recovery is going well and tonight after almost 7 days time for a cigar and an AB Magic toast sent by @NurseDave, along with some other birthday stuff will be on the docket over the next few day

Have a great day

As a extremely generous birthday present from my partner in cigars, I am back in the English fern world
Such a perfect shave today! Plus, it’s my Friday, a zoom call this weekend. My teeth are healing. Life is good. A few snow flurries in the morning but a nice warm-up coming up next week.

Have a great Saturday folks

During the zoom call this weekend, fine products were brought up and how they don’t have quite the consistency is the older product.
So, I thought I’d bring out the original fine Italian citrus as nice as always as an homage to adp.

Finished off with Panama for the win

I loved Fine’s hard milled soaps. At $12, then $12.50 a puck, they were a bargain, and a quality soap. Great scents too. 👍

This does not compute.
Personally, I loved the different scented soaps, AS, and colognes. However, my wife a couple of years ago developed strong allergic reactions to them, though they hadn’t bothered her before. If I use them now, she wheezes for several minutes, and may even have bronchospasms, which means her airway constricts-reopens-constricts-reopens… Since she literally cannot catch her breath, I went to unscented, and never looked back. 🙂
