Great sense for a very quick shave to head out the door

At the ranch:
We are going to be touching the 80° Mark today. It’s absolutely beautiful however that’s gonna awaken some of the critters. I suppose we’ll start saving some baby rattlesnakes because we’re gonna be heading into the 90s next week. Hopefully the couple of King snakes that we have will quell the population few coyotes hanging around this morning, but they’re so skittish, as soon as they heard the vehicle start up off they went.

We used to have MANY more rattlesnakes around us, now with so much new construction around us we rarely see ANY snakes unless we are well into the desert or up in the mountains.
I have mixed feelings about it, on one hand the rat population has grown to insane levels but on the other hand I don’t have to worry about my dumb dogs getting bit. I vaccinate my dogs for rattlesnake bites but the vaccine doesn’t offer 100% protection from complications.

Kona is pretty good at alerting, as is Ruger… Lyka on the other hand, thinks everything is a chew toy, birds, squirrels, took a chance with a racoon, and a baby king snake, which thankfully we were able to save. Hopefully she wont become a toad addict like Kona. I may need to put him in a 12-step program LOL

Good morning Cadre. It is so nice that it is my Friday and I’m looking forward to a nice weekend so in celebration of that I brought out the SV 70th.

No need for deets, with the shaving combo as everyone knows it’s just perfection in a shave

03.23.2024 NO Shave Hobo.
Yesterday was an odd won, we went out Saturday night to some freinds, and both of us felt rotten the whole day, lathargy, dizzyness, and just run down, almost a fluish feeling. I still managed to wash all the vehicles, but just that, no appetite..anyway not sure if it was a little bug or not but what a difference a day makes

Feeling much better today, other than the fact the Dentist keeps changing my appointments. Was looking forward to a normal "Barber Errand day", but NOOOOOO, have to be at the dentist at 1600, which botches the DnD show tonight and that makes it where we wont have another show until 4/7... I guess the Gin will just age more, LOL.

Feeling much better today, so a nice Str8 shave, and video Tutorial for @pipingtenor2570 and some questions he had regarding str8 razor shaving as it relates to whisker growth patterns and how to attack them with a str8 razor, So basically a supplement to my SRS Leaning Videos

Good combo and shave today overall and nice to be back from hoboville, only to come home tonight to drool and numb mouth. Reminds me of this.....

“Sigh”. And yet another HOBO day……

The Deets:
Well….. another visit to the dentist yesterday and this one was an adventure. Due to the last visit and surgery it was discovered that said surgically removed wisdom tooth( which was supposed to be removed years ago). Deep rooted itself, and apparently needed some room, so it pushed againt both upper and lower molars.

So, it cracked the bottom tooth adjacent and destroyed the upper one which is scheduled for a crown in mid april. Yesterday, was to be a crack filling and inspection for future appts to ensure the dentist could pay cash for his ferrari.

Anyway……. While fixing the crack he by accident, hit the main nerve of said tooth, that was next to the recently surgically removed wisdom tooth…..

Now, i have very strong threshold of pain, due to my “ballistic” and “captive” experiences in the military, and various other stupid crap I did when young. That being said imagine being “kinda drugged”, but not enough, and a spinning needle from Satan hitting the nerve. I now know what the coyote feels like by a large rock, or anvil, falling off the cliffs of AZ, or being hit head on by “that” train!

Very, very apologetic, Dr Justin, clearly upset, decided it would be appropriate to “really” drug me.

The rest of the appointment went without incident, other than spending the rest of the evening slobbering and sleeping

This morning, the result of the assault was clearly apparent and the bottle of advil and tylenol became my best friend.

So in true HOBO fashion…. no shower, no shave, and off to complete barber errand day, although the way i am feeling, I would hope other humans and any other breathing entities give me a WIDE berth, or i may snap LOL

I can relate somewhat.. I (kinda) joke that, regarding my dentist, I'm not a patient but a long term investment. :rolleyes:
