Yeah...I'll still use it for touching up hairlines and stuff like that. But man...that thing requires a lot of patience to get the handle on.That personalized one is so way cool Don. Shame it isn't more agreeable
Right? You gotta be careful for sure, but I've always liked the shave I get from them. For the most part, I do prefer the ones that will take a whole blade. This makes me want to pull out some of my DE blade shavettes and have a go.
The proportions must be off, because that thing "Looks" like it would take a full DE. I guess the big question is how much blade exposure is there. That will kinda tell you how comfortable the shave might be.

Video pleaseI actually bought one of those ebay ignite fitness mania half DE scissor style loading shavettes that look similar to a parker but with wood style handles with a 10 pack of blades for 3.99 and the thing is actually a great shaver. I guess its one of those ymmv things because so far ( and now that i say it that will probably change ) i havent ever even gotten a weeper from it. I really like the thing a lot and for that price shipped and from the USA i figured it was a good test since i had never tried a half de shavette before...
Edited to add scissor style...
I still have my magic from years ago laying around somewhere.....See? That looks like it’s a cool little piece of face fillet equipment. I would totally go for it if I hadn’t been bitten like 100 times already.
for the record my son learned to straight shave using a magic razor, way less cool. So it can be done. I used the same magic razor to cut stripes in my cheeks every time I tried.
I dont do videos at this time.. Sorry. But the razor i referenced by fitness was bought on ebay and it really isnt a bad shavette.. Oh wait i see you were wanting me to do a vid to see if i cut myself to pieces the next time i use it...Video please
Well, not right this minute.... we'll wait until your next shave!I dont do videos at this time..
Ooohh let me know how it shaves..... Please...Okay, so an order has been placed. It will be fun to see how these things shave.
I will give a quick review of it either here, or in my journal. It won't be here until January, however.Ooohh let me know how it shaves..... Please...

They arrived early (Saturday). The green one will be going out to Chad along with some blades for the Bad Blades review. We will see if he uses it or not.

I have never seen one shipped with a blade installed, however.

I probably won't be using the enclosed Dorco blades. I will try it with a Perma-Sharp first, I think.
The shave review is forthcoming.
