Alluvian Norwegian Spear shaving soap

A nice, but ridiculously expensive soap that sort of disappoints me.

Ease of lathering: 10/10–No issues in that aspect. In fact it explodes into great lather fast.

Longevity of lather: 10/10–Perfect that way too.

General skincare: 6.5/10–Fair to middling. The lack of slickness is the problem.

Scent: 8/10–Very, nice. A mix of spearmint and clove with a couple of other notes.

Price: 1/10–Way too expensive for what you get.

Would I buy again: 0/10–Forget it. Not a chance. My cheaper soaps are MUCH better.

Sometimes expensive doesn’t mean better. As I said I have soaps that are a good deal cheaper but they perform wonderfully.

I had a sample of Seabum Gold shaving soap years back. If I remember right it sold for $250+ for a bowl of soap and it was just soap. I didn’t feel the extra $$ helped the skin care properties whatsoever.

What’s the price range of this one?

Are they out of their minds?
