I use a brush. It's a cheapo synth brush that I hardly ever used for shaving so I began using it to apply powder.

Thanks for the tips! I have some of that barber powder myself and intend to try it out soon, i just dont have a spare cheapo soft brush for it. I have 3 brushes but each serves their own purposes in regards to soap.

Any old brush will work , My wife had a "shorty" makeup brush she never used , so that got tasked with becoming a powder brush.. The brush I'm using for the powder I think Alicia said came from dollar general.. The beauty supply shops also sell a cheap synthetic shave brush for just a few dollars that works well according to others I have heard..
