Aftershave of the Day

@MarkB I'm loving your "old school" after shave line up. With all the new stuff out there its easy to overlook the tried and true classics. I find decanting the Pinuad After Shaves into glass containers seems to improve them, maybe it's in my head or maybe it's true that the longer they sit in plastic the more the scent changes. Even better is being able to find old pinuad glass bottles to put the new stuff in. *Definately decant Lilac Vegital and let it "age" a bit in the glass with a little airgap at the top...it really does improve the experience.

Thanks, Chris. Yeah, I love the old school splashes. There are some very nice "new" ones out there, but they'll never surpass the OG's. I too decant my splashes from plastic into glass. I have the Clubman original, VIBR, Whiskey Woods, Brandy Spice and Tequila Tease all in glass, mainly antique medicine / apothecary bottles dating from the late 19th to early 20th centuries. The only reason this one's not in one is that I haven't gotten around to cleaning up a bottle for it (some of those old bottles can be pretty nasty). I have a bottle of The Veg, but don't use it as often. Maybe I'll decant it into glass and let it marinate for a while and see how it ages..
