For the most part, yes. Seems to depend on the day for me; sometimes I get faint whiffs for hours, others I get nothing after an hour.
And actually I was mistaken, I used Fine Platinum today. I had Venture set out, but I have two bottles of Plat, so I opted for the switcheroo.

Not really aftershaves, but I went to a boutique today that carries Comme des Garcons a brand I've been interested in for a while.
It's kind of unusual to find stuff like this here, and it's only a couple of blocks from my place. Got a few samples to try. Maybe this will end up in my first real frag purchase.
