Good Day Cadre!

As promised we are exploring offering the TSC a CRUISE for the 2025 TSC Convention and need to get a Barometer on Interest. The dates of the sailing would be:

June 9, 2025 - June 14, 2025 - Galveston, TX to Galveston TX Western Caribbean
(Arrival June 8,2025 for a one night stay in Hotel before departing at 4pm on the above departure Date)
Details are just preliminary at this point however, here are the initial details.

Line: Royal Carribean
Ship: Mariner of the Seas
Itinerary:
Day 1: Departure from Galveston 4pm
Day 2 ; Cruising at Sea
Day 3: Puerto Costa Maya, Mexico
Day 4: Cozumel, Mexico
Day 5 Galveton, TX
All available side excursions and details of each port will be posted once we have enough interest to move forward, as well as the TSC having a specific area or room for our Activities

NOTE: We need at least 30 people confirmed to make this happen. We also adjusted dates to allow for families to attend as well. The preliminary Cruise Costs are listed below. Again more specific details will be provided once we determine to move forward.

A Special TSC designed Aloha Shirt will also be available in the TSC Con packets. ( cost for registration has not been determined as of yet, and our Artisan Retailers will be invited to join us as well at their cost.

Cost:
Inside Room (No View) - $709.45 pp

Outside View Room (Window) - $823.45 pp

Balcony ( Veranda ) - $994.45 pp


In previous years this has been a request of attendees, and we are proud to bring you a chance to have the TSC Con at sea. if you are interested, please sign up below. At this point there is no obligation, however, as stated above we need at least 30 people to make this happen.

Is it the same cost per person if sharing a room? And is that cost just for the cruise or does it include the hotel for the evening prior?

All cruises base the fare on 2 people in a room. If you sail alone they charge you a premium. Often the cost of 2 people anyway.

Nope. The TSC Con is a trip for Megan and I. We don't get a lot of opportunities to have a trip just her and I. Plus we are doing Yellowstone next year as a family and possibly getting over to Yosemite as well.
 
KJ that is the cost per person (pp) and initial pricing to guage interest as stated above. Cost of hotel the night prior will be determined once we have met the participant threshold. Again, as stated once we are a go. Side excursion options will be presented. The hotel the night before will be basic, and just enough to get together, arrange portage to the dock for embarking in Galveston. We are also exploring the option of a night in a hotel upon arrival back to Galveston

However, there is an excursion available on Day 5 to the Johnson Space Center (@heysi ) and then a direct portage to the airport

There are a number of excursions that are available during the cruise including but not limited to ( full list once we are a go). But remember we are at sea for two days during the cruise so excursions will be at Puerto Costa Maya and Cozumel these include:
Cooking on site
Mayan temple visits
Swimming with Dolphins
And more

Excursions have a cost, however we are also working on a deal on those as well. I do not have costs on those yet as we are in Very preliminary stages

That being said, when budgeting keep in mind the following costs, but you will find that it is very compatible to what some folks spent going to Vegas

Cruise costs( includes all food and soft drinks (Drink alcohol) package may be extra)
Flight costs
Hotel cost (to be provided to you once avail)
Gratuity (usually paid at end of cruise)
Onboard activities ( most included) but items such as gift shop, spa, etc
optional Side excursions ( cost and avail will be provided once we are a go

Please also note kids ARE welcome hence the reason we moved dates to June
 
Also note if we do not meet the number threshold we will still pursue however costs may change. We will cross that bridge if that occurs

Sadly I will not be able to go to the Cruise next year.
We have a family vacation next year planed and budget for a cruise is not working.
Anyone on the fence about going DO IT!!! I been to the last 2 TSC conventions and had such a fantastic time.
I will for sure hopefully make it in 2026.

Won't be the same without you! But sounds like you have a great family vacation planned.
