2021 `S` thread

My second failure of 2021. And this is the reason, I can never truly join a sabbatical. As a collector, when you’re out and about and you see something rare, you have to grab it!

really though Nice find.. Those are the times that its Okay to not succeed all the time...
 
Well, I planned to space these out over the year, but with spring coming, and the budget already in place, I decided to go ahead and get them now. Only 4 more (that aren't currently available) and I'll have (or have tried) every GIT shaving soap known to man...or at least that you can find on the intrawebs. I plan to do an extremely thorough Best Of list on my YouTube channel sometime in April.

I’ve got one more failure enroute. Lol. As a collector, it’s a real gem of a find. Quite rare, and I couldn’t pass it up. Pics and details when it arrives.

Welp…. 2 more failures for me.

First are some aftershaves I bought from V's Barbershop while on a trip to Vegas. Can't find this stuff locally so was anxious to have the chance to acquire it. The V's Tonic is fantastic and I had a sample before, and knew I needed to stock up. I had to ship these to myself, since I couldn't bring them home in my Carry-On, so I don't have them in hand yet.

While in Vegas, I also bought an empty vintage aftershave bottle, which I'll post pics of later, as I haven't unpacked it yet.


My second failure is still stuck in mail pergatory, so I'll post pics and update the list when they arrive, but I got a really nice vintage display piece and some great Gillette memorabilia.

I've gone a little(maybe a lot) too spend-happy so far this year and I have some other goals that I need to achieve, so I'm in. There are several items that I have bought that are currently in the the delivery network, or have already paid for and am on a waiting list to have crafted, but I'm hoping for a failure free 2021 from this point on.
