Pardon the delay. There is a remnant of the dna of the Original however, there is a pronounced aquatic accord with a very subtle seaweed note that's not intrusive whatsoever. The Lavender note gives it a nice balance of freshness & cleanliness to the whole composition while still delivering a present but, not overpowering spicy accord from the black pepper. Up top you get a nice citrus burst though it's very short lived with the Lemon & Bergamot exiting stage left after a brief tap dance. However, there's a nice woody note with a light & earthy Patchouli that gives it some nice depth in the drydown for a nice masculine finish with somewhat of a modern vibe. A classic that is fresh and modern. For the price ($12@ my local Burlington), totally worth a try and blind buy safe imho.
