Well, after all that I missed a day and had to correct the numbering with this one. For the vacation shaves, in the past I had gone to the locker room in the spa for more space. But this was a smaller ship and the showers didn't have the little sitting area in front of them where you can keep your stuff. So after the first day of going there, I did all the rest in the stateroom. I was also planning on shaving on video as we went through the canal. But it's hot and humid down there, and I didn't feel like shaving on camera while I sweated out in the sun on the veranda. I did push the Proguard past the normal 7 days because sometimes I didn't get around to shaving until late in the afternoon and only did a single pass just to get through dinner.
Posted bits from the trip on the travel forum. I wasn't sure how having basically 10 sea days was going to be. It was great! No rush at all to do any certain thing because you knew there would be many more days to get to whatever it was. And so few kids because of the length of the cruise and it being during the school year. Met some interesting folks too. Sat with a retired fire chief having cigars a few times. The first cigar was spent hearing his stories of being a paramedic when he found out I was in healthcare. The 2nd time we hung out, I found out he does extra work for TV and movies as a fireman usually. Apparently is a regular extra in Chicago Fire and he and his wife were in some fire movie with John Travolta. Now I need to start watching Chicago Fire just to try to find him.
