Yes their GEM single edge blades now have the new name and branding you’ve described.

They also chose to name a line of their DE blades “Personna GEM Double Edge Platinum Diamond Glide”

Just to further everyone’s Personna confusion
 
As I have read through the last few posts i realized how far out of the loop i am on blades. I stopped to think of the last time I have purchased blades and I can not honestly recall. Like many of the folks on here I bought SEVERAL tucks/sleeves of blades in a short window of time and amassed a sizable collection. I still may have enough to last me for ever.
 
Most of this is stuff I already have; but needed restock on. The one I didn't is Porthos. Since Athos is my favorite shave soap scent from any maker, and Don's best creation, I snatched up the last two tubs he had available, plus the last splash he had. Needed another bottle of Test pilot Mary, picked up another Thomas Shelby set as well. I'll let you know about Porthos in SOTD.

New straight razor. It's a real function razor based of the property straight razor from the movie musical Sweeney Todd. Definitely a cutthroat razor in thst movie. Yhe movie prop 1 wasn't sharp. This shaves the hair off my arm like cutting through melted butter.real face shave test coming tonight

Replaced my Ali Express Pocket knife style travel razor with a more permanent better quality travel razor.

A Gillette Nickel plated Tuckaway, complete with case and a blade tin. Inside of case, razor and blade bank are pretty much mint condition. Nickel plating on outside of case not so good. Thinking about seeing if outside of case can be replaced. But don't know anyone that does that eotk except maybe Razor Emporium. But they csn be expensive.

Oh. Bought a little snack also
