Yep for sure. I feel bad for Hoshoryu! The expectations were huge for him. Had Onosanto not roared into existence he may be the sole Yokozuna and top of the heap!It was nice seeing Atamifuji get that far, great final match.
Totally with @Cvargo one shouldn’t have been promoted, but I can see going from no Yokozuna to too many Yokozunas soon.

Aionishiki and Onosanto are Yokozuna for sure! They are young, have technique and are healthy. I think Hoshoryu is missing the health component or maybe he’s mentally defeating himself(maybe some impostor syndrome?).
Yes, I agree. I feel like the Yokozuna council could start putting a lot of pressure on Hoshoryu if he doesn’t start ending the tournaments in at the very least runner up position. They hate seeing him pose to megishira wrestlers…. I’m praying he can pick it up and keep up with the other two.Not at all bagging on Hosh, I just think it was a desperation move, at that time there wasn’t anyone who really felt like Yokozuna material, not like these new powerhouse guys do. I always worried that it would end up meaning his career gets cut unnecessarily due to poor performance as a Yokozuna, which would be terrible.
