Yes.....it was a funny-haha.
19 This is starting to drag on a bit. Today for shave 23 on the Gillette Platinum blade in view of the mild pulling from last shave I added a quick hot towel session prior to the first pass. This pretty much cleared up any tugging from the first pass. Subsequent passes were just fine. I theorize the tug is more from the geometry of the whiskers after a couple days. Much like how easier grass is to trim than mow. This, Im thinking is why daily shaving feels easier to cut and are more comfortable. Williams continues to do its job and is super slick and gives me an environment to mus3 like this. lol
The "offending" pic was right after I transferred it from the tub in which it was soaking to the bowl, so it was extra goopy. Today's pic was post-shave, so no offending slime.

I'm starting to think that you're only looking at the puck when its time to load. Try letting the brush actually touch the surface of the soap.
