Wednesday 6/10 Shave

One Pass Straight plus One Pass DE equals Shave Perfection
The Super Adjustable was the top of the DE game for Gillette
I love the pearlescent tang covers on this Hibbard Spencer

The truth is that this soap has wonderful post-shave care and it smells great not to mention how nicely it lathers. But it can wreak havoc on someone’s skin if they can’t handle intense menthol. It feels like liquid nitrogen on your face! 😂😂😂

I never thought I’d find a soap that would beat the Stirling Glacials or the Chiseled Face Cryogen when it comes to menthol power but this Absolute Zero did it. The freeze from it is WICKED!

Not to brag but I LOVE golf and I had lessons from a professional. I shoot in the mid 70s as a general rule. However I have yet to win a tournament so I guess I’m not as good as a lot of people think! 😂😂😂😂

I’m on the other end of the golf spectrum. I’m happy if I can get through 18 holes with a score under 140!😂

Cool shower
Yaqi 30mm Barber Pole
Super Speed/Super Platinum day 11
MSC Frosted Lavender SS
Gold Bond Moisturizer
MSC Frosted Lavender AS Splash
Giorgio Armani Aqua di Gio Parfum

Man oh man is this Frosted Lavender stuff ever have a gorgeous scent and does it ever freeze a guy’s tukhis off. The soap is tallow based, its consistency is so similar to any of the Stirling soaps, the lather is sumptuous, the menthol sensation is incredible, and it’s so chock full of post-shave care. The Gold Bond moisturizer worked its cooling and soothing magic, while the Frosted Lavender aftershave added another heavy duty coating of icicles to my face - it has the same lovely scent as the soap and it never stings or burns because it’s witch hazel based. Finally the beautiful Aqua di Gio fragrance - my wife LOVES it on me. Three passes gave me such a great BBS shave that was so pleasurable!

I wouldn't consider that bragging. Having an average in the mid 70s is very close to par for most courses, which is terrific.. As long as you're enjoying yourself out on the links is all that matters.

Post/After-shave:- T.N. Dickinson Witch Hazel Astringent mixed into the 240ml bottle with Plunkett's Vita E Pure with Rosehip Oil (10 drops), Natural Plant Glycerine (20) & Tea Tree Oil Antiseptic (5)
Moisturising Cream:- Aveeno Active Naturals Daily Fragrance-Free (for autumn & winter season)
Fragrance:- Tabac
Deodorant:- Milkman Furiously Nude Unscented (Australian made)

Do I ever LOVE this Island Man stuff’s scent - it’s an exact copy of the Virgin Island Water from Creed which is a gorgeous fragrance that I had a long time ago and the only thing that stops me from buying it again is the fact that it’s over $300 for a bottle. The soap gave me monstrous lather that had so much slickness as well as a soothing post-shave feeling. The Hydra Power moisturizer felt so good, and finally the Island Man aftershave went on with its magnificent scent - my wife loves it on me too so that’s a big plus. The Super Platinum blade is showing signs of fatigue but it still performed well enough to give me a great three pass BBS shave that was so enjoyable!

To me, the Shark Platinum is noticeably sharper and smoother than the Shark Super Stainless.
