A great shave this afternoon taking down 2 days of growth with the Razorock Game Changer. 68-p. A&E Unmasked provided a thick, rich, creamy lather for the job. Finished with a splash of Osage Rub. Not only a great cold splash, but it smells amazing too. BBS finish

By no means was this a Grand Freeze like I had yesterday but it was still very cooling as well as refreshing. The Proraso Green soap gave me plenty of thick, rich lather with lots of slickness and such a comfortable post-shave feeling. Do I ever love the Gold Bond moisturizer because it’s so soothing and it also has more than enough menthol to add some chill. Finally the Proraso Green aftershave went on with an icy kick - it also smells great. Another awesome three pass BBS shave that was such a pleasure!

Another great shave today. Returned to Adopted Acres Soap Co. and their excellent "Lime on the Line" shave soap and splash. Great scent, but the spearmint and peppermint oils overpower the lime. A fantastic lather built with the Ever-Ready synth for three passes with the Rockwell 6S and I finished with alum, followed by Thayers unscented witch hazel, the matching aftershave splash and CBL Premium Barber Powder.

Monday's Cold Water Shave

Cold Water Rinse
Williams Mug Shave Soap
Jayaruh #425 Synthetic
Treet Single Edge Razor
Personna Gem PTSE Blade

Brut After Shave

I started with the cold water rinse. The Williams lathered well with the Jayaruh #425. I did one quick pass with the Treet Single Edge Razor with a Personna Gem PTSE Blade. After a cold water rinse, I finished with Brut After Shave. I am now clean, smooth, and refreshed.
 
Monday 6/8 Shave
MDC MONDAY

EDGE TEST – Much better after a JNat Refresh
Smoother and more comfortable face feel
A very small amount of MDC produces a rich lather
Overall a very acceptable BBS Shave result

Hello everyone! Hope you had a pleasant evening.

Phenomenal shave today! Returned to CBL Premium Shave Soap and Chris's excellent "Spaghetti Western" shave soap and splash. Great scent! Think Italian Colonia meets southwestern US. A wonderful lather built with the Semogue SOC boar brush for three passes with the Rockwell 6S and I finished with alum, followed by Thayers unscented witch hazel, the matching aftershave tonic, CBL Premium Barber Powder & AdP "Colonia" EdC.

Todah, Akhi! Yes, A&E Unmasked is Unscented. My tub is in the Ultima base, which is fabulous. They are moving all the soaps to the Ultima II base, which is fairly new. I can't imagine improving on the original. I suspect it is out of this world good. The matching A&E Unmasked splash is fantastic, full of great skin foods.
