Great shave. Why did Adam say he does not do Gold Dollar razors?

Most probably bad past experience with them. There's been love and hate for this razor a looong time. I've seen some frustration with uneven grinds, edge durability, etc. My two seem to be fine and are holding an edge. I've honed the other one but not this one. First time I've ever used it. Adam has been a very kind friend and mentor to me. He took a lot of time to answer my honing questions, make suggestions, send gifts. He is just a wonderful person. And his work is amazing!!

Spent last week with my daughter and brand new grandson. Got a few shaves in but was too busy (tired) to post… besides, shaves at home are always more enjoyable anyway. Feeling clean and fresh now and ready for bed.
