Good morning, kids! Yesterday was funish. Since my wife's office overlooks the ballpark, I had to get myself there and she could drive us home. I was finally hoping I could take a WAYMO since my wife refuses. Nope, it said it would take twice as long as cost twice as much. Much like myself in my dancing days. Since it was just me, I took the cheapest option on Lyft and was happily surprised when a Lincoln popped up. That all ended when I got in an realized the wear on this thing that had over 200k miles on it. I spent the trip with first hot air blasting, then cold air, then hot air, then cold air. I could go on, but you get the gist. Short walk to the park, picked up our free hats and found our seat close to the field where the 1st base line almost hit the outfield. A better spot to watch the game than I would have thought. And the closest ever to getting a foul ball. One hit the lady in our row just 4 people away and one landed two rows directly behind us. In the end, it was still just two dudes playing catch with a bunch of other dudes watching. We were off to a good start at 2-0 and it went downhill from there. We left in the 6th when it was 4-8 and our fingers were getting numb.
