So today, we begin the personna wars. Between the lab blue and the diamond glide over the next couple of weeks during my work week I’ll be shaving with these to see which one is better.

Today T & H. 1805 was on the agenda. A wonderful citrusy aquatic from one of the best known English purveyors.

A brand new lab blue in the blackbird today provided a wonderful shave very very keen

Three passes and DSBBS

Finished off with the 1805 aftershave, some talc, and off to the shop to begin my work week

Have a great day folks

Day number two of the Personna Wars. Today, again with the black land blackbird, but for the soap and set DARWIN.
This is the last of two shades before switching to the gem diamond glide for two days for the initial new blade test results will be on my video on Sunday. Then we will continue on from there.

Good shave today

Have a good day folks

Back to Straights today, and a very nice and refreshing Easter Shave with Proraso and "The Pope". Week one of the Personna Wars is over and for "Brand New" testing the GEM Diamond Glide wins the preliminaries as the smoothest right out of the Tuck. Both the Lab Blue and the GEM provided wonderful shaves in the Blackbird Ti, the LB was a bit harsh to begin with on shave 1, but smoothed out a bit. The GEM was perfect. So Week One goes to the GEM. 5 points to Gryffindor.

As for today's Shave... Smooth, smooth, smooth. Proraso is just simple a "Go To" Wonderful citrus with a hint of cooling, easy to lather and very slick. The aftershave splash is legendary, and finished off with an "old school" classic frag. In the same wheelhouse as Quorum, Polo Green etc, but a bot more refined and light.

DSBBS as expected, and a great way to start the Holiday.

At the Ranch:
Beautiful Weather for Easter Sunday, and we are heading to a friends home for a Feast. Well... My Wildcats played horribly last night in the Final Four, and deserved the Loss. Honestly they played like a Junior High Team, and Michigan just ran all over us and earned a well deserved win. Tommy Lloyd had a legendary season and we look forward to next year. As to the Finals, I am torn, as I see Michigan taking it all, but UConn is no slouch, although their coach is a tool. Love their mascot for reasons shown below LOL.

Good weather, Barber errand day, and Date day, has us going to the bank, grocery shopping and on today's food date agenda "Lemon Month" at Soup plantation.. which inlcudes blue Cheese Lemon Salad, Lemon Pasta with capers, and all sorts of other lemony goodness from a salad buffet joint

Should be a good day. Hope yours is too

In the interest of science.....is the test really valid if you're changing any variables during the test? Shouldn't you be using the exact same soap, razor, brush, ect. if you want a true comparison of the blades?

The best shave so far since we entered the lab blue gem diamond Challenge. With less than stellar lather today the razor still performed fantastically finished with all the florist accoutrements and was a great DSBBS shave.

Sadly, the Tsc’s Mrs. Kravitz decided to try to throw a wrench in my testing of the lab blue and gem diamond glide saying that I should be consistent with my soap, my brush, my razor, etc., etc.

With this logic, all tires would be done on the same track same weather condition same car well as we know that’s not right for efficiency smoothness, and everything else you have to have a variety of different things that you test on

Anyways, Mrs. Kravitz was always a bit delusional anyway

Have a great day folks
