Gold Bond Moisturizer
Aqua Velva Ice Blue AS Splash

These Perma Sharp blades are awesome - they’re so sharp as well as smooth and very forgiving. I really love the way they perform and they have excellent longevity in spite of my tough stubble. My beautiful Yaqi Barber Pole churned up fabulous lather with the Klipspringer’s Kick soap which is glycerine based, the scent is a lovely blend of coffee and peppermint, it’s supposed to be the least mentholated of the “Kick” series from Bundubeard but it still gives an excellent cooling effect, and it’s very skin friendly. The Gold Bond moisturizer felt so soothing, and the Aqua Velva Ice Blue aftershave went on icy cold along with its delightful old school barbershop scent that I love so much. Three passes delivered a wonderful BBS shave that I enjoyed to the max!

DAY 4 – A little test – One Modified WTG/ATG Pass – No Clean Up
Wanted to see what this baby would do with a simple DFS
Dried Down to an acceptable, smooth & comfortable shave
Stirling Boar is at the point where only a few swirls produces a great lather
It never quite dries out overnight – requires minimal wetting in the morning

Razor: Sun Moon Razor – Green Goblin
Blade: 15/16 Near Wedge Hollow Carbon Steel (6X)
Lather: Strike Gold Shave NOSTALGIA

Hello everyone! Hope you had a pleasant evening.

Wonderful shave this morning! Flirting with record high temps for the next several days, so I'll be going with heat-friendly selections. Today I returned to my Valobra era TAOS unscented shave soap. Just incredible lather built with the Riva badger brush for three passes with the Karve and I finished with alum, followed by Dior "Eau Sauvage" aftershave balm and EdT. Again, zero feedback from the alum.

BBS bliss!!

2 day of growth taken down with the Rockwell 6s on plate 3. 1st time Van Der Hagen. This is a glycerin soap puck. It performed OK. I rubbed the puck all over my beard like a shave stick and then built the lather on my face. It was not as thick as other soaps, but was slick. I achieved a BBS shave.

Beautiful shave, Jeff! Have tried Osage Rub as an AS? I have a bottle and love the barbershop scent along with the menthol kick.

This soap has a colder kick than Proraso Green but it’s by no means overwhelming!

This is so funny - every time I use Tabac for some reason I start thinking in German - just kidding, but this stuff is so wonderful. I enjoyed my shower with the Tabac bath soap so much, the scent perfumed my bathroom and it lingered on my skin not to mention how spotlessly clean it left me with a good moisturizing feeling. The shaving soap buried my face in thick, rich, super slick, beautifully scented lather, and it gave me such a comfortable postshave sensation. The Lubriderm moisturizer works so well as a balm and it’s unscented so it doesn’t disrupt the lovely scent. The Tabac deodorant spray, aftershave, and cologne were a perfect finish. Another dynamite three pass BBS shave that was fit for a king!
