Unless I’m mistaken which I don’t think I am there’s nobody else who has this mega hyper mentholated wintergreen scented soap and aftershave. My dear brother Fernando knows that I craved the Stirling Glacial Wintergreen stuff so badly so he did me a huge favour and made this combination just for me. There’s no labelling on the soap tub or on the aftershave bottle because they’re not on the market. I’ve had the pleasure of using them a few times and they actually pass the Glacial Wintergreen in terms of menthol power. The scent is exactly the same and the soap gives the same wonderful lather - oh yes, a great frigid shave awaits me in the morning!

It sounds like this soap might have caused your eyes to water along with icicles forming on your face. This sounds like it is right up Bary Bedford's (A Texan Shaves on YouTube) alley. He will be having his 3rd Blizzard Battles challenge soon. Maybe MSC should enter.

This frigging soap makes your eyes to water even if you sniff it from the container - even the Glacial Wintergreen doesn’t do that until you start lathering it up. The scent fills up my bathroom and the menthol sensation lasts for a LONG time after you finish shaving. The matching aftershave…..oy vey iz mir! I was telling my brother-in-law not to even think of trying it because he really can’t tolerate such strong menthol - he bought two Glacial soaps a few years ago and after using them both just once I “inherited” them. They’re just not for him. Another Lantsman asked me about these soaps and I told him “if you don’t like menthol s’vet dir nisht vern!” (Yiddish for “you won’t feel good!”)

Hello everyone! Hope you had a pleasant evening.

Great shave this morning! A nice musk, sandalwood scent from the QED "Sandalwood" shave soap with a phenomenal lather built with the Sorrentino Brushworks synth for three passes with the Karve and I finished with alum, followed by Thayers unscented witch hazel & vintage Yardley "Musk" aftershave lotion.

BBS bliss!!

The Tabac Shave Soap face-lathered well with Jayaruh #292 HMW Badger Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the C.V. Heljestrand Lather Catcher razor and the Heljestrand Wedge Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Humphrey's Witch Hazel and Tabac After Shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Was this ever wonderful - from start to finish. The Tabac bath soap started the ball rolling, the Tabac stick lathered like a champ, its slickness helped to give me awesome blade glide, and the postshave feeling was so comfortable. The Lubriderm moisturizer enhanced the skincare, the Tabac deodorant spray is fabulous, and finally the matching aftershave followed by the cologne had me smelling so great. (The wife left for work before so she couldn’t smell me!) Another three pass beauty of a BBS shave that was so much fun!

If you enjoy menthol; maybe give Cold Fusion from Wet the Face a try. It's the absolute coldest menthol soap I've ever tried. Beats out, even, the mighty Cryogen from Chiseled Face.
