Back from the doctor. test results still aren't in. She was very apologetic but there really isn't much either one of us can do but wait.

Here’s a bit of good news. I saw the rheumatologist today. After blood testing results & a thorough exam, he was able to conclude that I do NOT have RA.

Yes, I am relieved, though I still don't know what is causing so much pain in such an absurd spot (middle joint of my right pinky). It makes even less sense knowing I am left-handed.

The doctor did give me a cortisone shot- not fun to get, but hopefully it wlll relieve the inflammation.
