Gillette Old Type.
Gillette Wilkerson Sword blade.
Rubberset 400 number three boar.
Williams Mug shaving soap.
Timeless Razor shave bowl.
Scottish Antique by Andy Hilfiger cologne.

Number seven of the Williams challenge.

Take care everyone!

#7 today I continue with my success with superloading and face lathering. In continuing to use a DE blade as long as I can (I didn’t officially join the blade challenge) I added a hot towel Preshave. The face lathering laid down a good slick layer under the lather giving me the best chance for a great shave. And I got it. I was even able to do some blade buffing to bring things down to near BBS. I finished up with some decanted “Family Spice” aftershave.

I am sorry that I am late to this thread. I love Williams. I shaved with it today. In fact, I shave with it every Wednesday. It is Williams Wednesday. So my Williams lasts a long time, maybe up to ten months. I have a stash of it including a vintage puck.

I keep mine is my wife's Grandpa's mug. I also have a custom lid made for it.

Not sure if anyone is curious about these keychains, but they were called Triplets, because it was 3 tools in one. The bottle opener was added later. You'd mail in to get one. They started being available in 1903. I'm not sure how long this promotion lasted, likely only a few years. (the hex cutout in the second one, I assume, is a user modification, because it goes through some of the wording).

What I'm curious about, is what the "Trial Sample of Williams Shaving Soap" looked like. Mini puck?
