Yes, a vacuum for sure. My homemade setup was with a paint pressure vessel and a vacuum pump. Of course if you’re doing this very often at all, you’d want some professional tools made for the purpose. NiceWhat is this, amateur hour?. No paint can pressurization here, friend.
