Lubriderm Moisturizer
MSC Vintage Spice AS Splash

This shave was so great and so enjoyable - everything about it was perfect. The Crystal blades work so well for me - the Vintage Spice soap delivered tons of beautifully scented lather that was so thick, rich, slick, as protective, and such a comfortable postshave feeling that the Lubriderm moisturizer enhanced. Finally the Vintage Spice aftershave went on with its delightful ā€œShulton Old Spiceā€ scent but no burning or stinging because itā€™s witch hazel based. Three passes gave me such a wonderful BBS shave - no complaints whatsoever!

The Tabac Shave Soap face-lathered well with Jayaruh #199 Synthetic Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Supply SE MAX razor and the Supply Black Label Injector Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Humphrey's Witch Hazel and Tabac After Shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Hello everyone! Hope you had a pleasant evening.

A fantastic shave this morning! Returned to PAA and their excellent Crabtree & Evelyn for Men homage, "Crabapple & Newton" product suite. Fantastic Old School scent with an incredible lather built with the Simpson badger brush for three passes with the Karve and I finished with alum, followed by Quinn's lavender witch hazel and the matching aftershave & EdP.

Another effortless BBS shave!

Royal bloom is an excellent scent which I never would have entertained as a younger man. Today, its one of my favorite soaps to snag off the shelf for a random sniff! Lovely W&B too btw!
 
Iā€™m exploring my AutoStrop collection this month (2025 was a RAD year for me!). This is my tenth AC shave so far, first time with this Gillette-marked VC2 model. Also used what Iā€™ve been calling my ā€œ3 woodā€ brush which, thanks to some help from @BarberDave and @Luecke3262 might be identified as a Sorrentino Brushworks production from 2020 - I acquired it last October from an online auction and the seller has no idea where it came from, other than it was gifted to her a couple of years ago. Anyway, if so, then my brush was a TSC member long before me! Havenā€™t heard back from @Smattayu yet but Iā€™m gonna stick with that theory in the meantime. DFS results today, now ready for the arctic weather!
