What Fragrance Did You Use Today?

Parle Moi de Parfum Papyrus Oud
Really lovely, classy somewhat powdery parchment, incense and just enough oud to give some darkness, but not overwhelming the fragrance at all like it sometimes can. Best from the house, and highly recommended.

PMdP was one of the first houses I got into, and had some nice convos with the owner over the COVID lockdown times.

When my son was job hunting and needed a confidence boost in interviews, I loaned him this bottle. Unfortunately it came back with out the lid. Now being a bit obsessive about these things, it was kind of a bummer, but my Father's Day present was the cap was found and returned, over a year later! So I had to douse myself with this, I forgot just how good it is.

Spray Today is Bijan again lol.

No pic needed, it's the same old donut. But it is chilly today so the juice can shine. It's at around 30% now from using all day. I'm wondering what to do with it once it's empty. Does it deserve a Viking funeral in ceremonial destruction, or stored somewhere to collect dust, when it's about 20 bucks a bottle and I intend to get the flankers... time will tell.

Once it's gone, I'll resume daily pics in post

Pierre Guillaume L'Ombre Fauve
This could be call L'Ombre Gato, as there's a serious feline element to this wonderful fragrance. It's a sad day here, as my Father In Law passed away yesterday afternoon, making this understand soul soothing sent the ideal choice for today.

It's a cool fall day, and I wanted something different. Felt like wearing all black and wanted something a little dark. I cannot understate how interesting this fragrance is. If you are someone who likes Pino Silvestre (Original EDT) give this a try. It's cheap and complex, and isn't as harsh. It's a pretty good classic pine with spices.

Pantheon Roma - Trastevere
(from official sample)
I don't have a lot of gourmands, but chestnut has always worn well for me, and I find the sent to be interesting. Add some vanilla to round it out, and give an almost hot toddy effect, and licorice and artemisia for some herbal bitterness, and it's a winner to my nose. Might not be for everyone though, as though it's sweet it's also old school apothecary.
Testing to see if it's on my short Christmas list this year, it may well be!

1000001469.jpgSpray of the Day - Part 1!
The Damned Donut is Definitely Dead!
I finished the bottle this morning, while I finished the Beard Butter a day or two ago. Man, riding it out was fun. I decided to kill the bottle by just overspraying it on my favorite comfy hoodie that I'll be wearing for the day going to work. I loved Bijan so much I might actually come back for a smaller one in the future, or I'll go for the flankers if I can find them. Bijan VIP and Black is on my radar. As to what I did with the bottle? I decided to throw it out. It's cool, yes, but it wasn't a vintage batch and it's so cheap and easy to find, it's not really worth keeping.

Today's Spray - Part 2 "For Real This Time."

So today, for work and the evening I'll start to take down this bottle of Ralph Lauren's "Supreme Oud". It's a small travel bottle I got from a cool lady on Mercari. This stuff was apart of a discontinued, or limited, set of 3 a few years back, which came alongside Supreme Leather and Supreme Cashmere. I didn't try and couldn't find the Leather one but that's okay, I'm not big on Leather dominant fragrances, and I did sample the Cashmere but it's a weird, plant-y herbal spice I couldn't get behind. But I am an Oud guy. I love this and even have a full size of Polo Oud, which is similar but more floral and semi sweet, very young.

This bottle was sold pretty cheap because it's actually from a collectors bundle that had a special box and full size with the travel, and it was also really damaged. Got it at an even lower offer with sweet talk. The smell? Still perfect.

(EDIT: A photo of what the two pack looked like, this is the Cashmere version though. I do NOT own this, I just bought a resold bottle of the small 1oz-ish bottle)
