This a really fun set up. A gin Martini with a twist for the shave.

A new blade in the “wraith” made quick work. In fact just 2-pass shave was more than perfect. Some Gillette aftershave gel, Thayers Lemon, talc and the Gents Gin.

A Very busy day at the shop, hence the late entry, but even a busy day cutting hair and doing shaves is better than most other jobs. I am blessed

Woo hoo it is my Friday. Looking forward to a nice three day weekend rock hounding drinks, and Dave’s and four wheeling in the great southwest.

Have not used the BRW in a long period of time and it was a very very nice shave Noble otter Jack is my favorite of the Noble otter, shave soap, line a gin and tonic with an additional wild mint vibe. Makes it a wonderful wonderful fragrance.

It is Wednesday or in my world, my Monday the beginning of the week at the shop and why not bring out the best equipment to start the week off, right

Un obtanium of course, but my absolute favorite fragrances on the entire planet

A good three past shave with the Osprey and off to start the week

It’s all about the orange! OK and a little bit of citrusy lemony goodness with the Bergamot. Using the Gillette black beauty today for a very nice three pack shave, finished up with the royal mandarin and the sweet orange of the Sapone Di Paolo soap is wonderful. SDP is actually now 11 soaps.

At the ranch:
There is a saying that we have in the southwest that when the ice breaks on the Santa Cruz river we are beginning summer

This year it is really really really early. We’re supposed to crack 100° today and it is way too early for that, but it is beautiful in the mornings.

It is my Friday, your Saturday, so all is good with the world. A nice mellow day at the shop today with just a few shaves and a couple of haircuts. Saturday is my early day. I’m usually out of here by one to 2 o’clock and then the weekend begins.

As to the shave to celebrate the end of the week, it’s 70th anniversary by SV. The entire set up the soap, the aftershave, the EDP and of course the SV ivory brush and the Leonardo da Vinci straight razor.

Three passes and just perfection and a shave
