Le Galion Eau Nobile
Weird move on Le Galion's part, the original company had a fragrance called Eau Nobile a counterpart to Dior's classic Eau Sauvage. When Nicholas Chabot rebooted the company he had a number of the original scents reformulated in a way that reasonably resembled the originals. The original remake is really fantastic. A couple of years back they decided to rename the original Essence Nobile and re-rerelase Eau Nobile as a much more today woody powerhouse, made unique with a big dollop of sour rhubarb. I was pretty bummed at first, but then had to admit that time marches on.
Kindly with my last purchase from them they included a 10 ml mega sample bottle gratis. And you know, I've come to really like it. I mean we all started our fragrance journey with something a little to loud and brash and it's still fun to go down that road from time to time.
I'm not sure spraying this on 30 minutes before my piano lesson today was a good idea though. The poor guy was chocked out, I didn't realize it was so much the powerhouse! But I had a great time wearing it, otherwise.
