Very nice late morning shave and yes you read that right, I used my brush warmer. The AC is fighting our heat wave and the brush warmer just made the shave that much more relaxing. Warm lather and Duc de Santal … come on that’s good stuff. Life is good!
Home Front-
So … coworker and I had a late Friday night and I was so ready for the weekend. Yesterday the stepson and I fished a Bass tourney and got into the money at 5th place. Air temps during the tourney reached 107 degrees, so it was a bit warm. Today I am still hydrating and enjoying a chill day. Until next time.

Avast ye maties! This work week I have decided to take the fight back to The Man. And what better scent to invoke a fighting spirit? So another day started with a glorious shave and I am ready. Three luxurious passes and I am BBS for the win! And you know I dig this scent. Life is good!
Home Front-
Not sure what today will hold. Yesterday I challenged my manager to a battle of: rock, paper, scissors, lizard, Spock for a management decision I was arguing. My confidence shined and he declined the challenge. That or my argument fell upon dear ears. I’m not sure yet, but I am determined … argh!

The Deets-
This week I have been somewhat lazy and went with the trusty Gillette Slim. And a fine shaving instrument it is. Although I opted for the Slim, I still maintained my typical three pass shaves and walked away, from my late morning shaves BBS for the win! I wasn’t too sure about the scent of this soap when I purchased it, but I am really digging it now. I loaded heavy and each shave was a wet, slippery mess and the post shave was … outstanding. Some goodness right there!

Apologies gents, my updates have been sparse. So many things I could share, but probably shouldn’t on an open forum. We’ll just say I’ve had some struggles and they have been interrupting my normal sleep cycles. I have been lurking off and on, but haven’t posted as much as I used to. Anyway this week I managed a week of staycation to decompress. And did it work wonders. I turned off all work notifications and completely unplugged. The past 7 nights I have had the best sleep I have had all year. Although the orneriness and rebellion of my younger days has been resurfacing the last few months … it’s all good. I will be embracing that for what lies ahead. I am still trying to find my way, but the restful state was truly needed. Damn I feel good. Life is good!
