TGIF! I was a bit indecisive this morning, I will admit it. I wasn't sure if I wanted to finish the week strong with Bary Rum or rock the Patchouli. Had to finish the week strong, so Bay Rum got the nod. Kept the same gear, just because ... reasons. A 25 second load time and whipped up plenty of fantastic lather for both a shave and post shave. Man with each use I dig this Stirling boar more and more.

40 laps on the leather again today and it was time to hit it. Went with my standard three pass shave of WTG, XTG and ATG with no drama to report. Another really great shave, the Torrey has been rocking it this week and I am BBS for the win! Wrapped everything up with a quick rinse and towel dry. A double shot of the AS and everything was right as rain! You bet it was. Time to wrap this week up ... arrrrrg! Life is good!

The process-
Late morning shave today and it was nice. Today was a good day to mix things up a bit and I changed all the kit out. Grabbed the Semogue and the Patch. Had a nice, very wet lather going on, but the Semogue is just ... meh. Maybe I need to clean it. I love a straight up, dirty hippy patch ... don’t judge. But I do wish the CBL had a touch more of that awesomeness.

40 laps on the leather. Went with my standard three pass shave of WTG, XTG and ATG with no drama to report. Good stuff right tbere. The slickness of the CBL mage for a quick, comfortable shave. And I am BBS for the win!

Wrapped everything up with a quick rinse and towel dry. A dab of the ASB and everything was right as rain! Man I really need a Patch AS. Very nice start to the day. Life is good!

Late morning shave, but an hour earlier than my normal late morning. Mixed a few things up this morning, just because. Grabbed the Noble Otter and I have no idea what I smell. It’s light scented but my nose doesn’t pick out any specific scent. The scent opens up when lathered, but it must to too comple for my simpleton nose. I still got nothin’. It whips up a ton of lather that is good and slick though. Broke out the Vulfix to see how it did. No shedding, so that is nice.

40 laps on the leather. Went with my standard three pass shave of WTG, XTG and ATG with no drama to report. Very nice shave! That soap does a good job with slickness and the Dovo took care of the rest. I am starting the day BBS for the win!

Wrapped everything up with a quick rinse and towel dry. A dab of the ASB and everything was right as rain! Heck yeah it was, great post shave feel with this soap. Life is good!

Home Front-
Been a busy weekend. Broke down and moved the round pen for the horse. Then sowed that field with winter rye so he would have something to eat. Mowed the yard and have been working on wintering the house. Building a heat box now to keep a few things warm through the winter.

Since I missed my morning shave yesterday, I almost shaved last night to keep the streak alive. But alas, I am a morning shaver. Anyway, it's all good and was well worth the wait. Back to Proraso Red to see if I can finish this up. The Semogue also got the nod today, just to give it something to do. Went with the typical 30 second load time and added a bunch of water. I whipped up a lot of really wet lather and it was nice. Very nice. Man, I dig that Sandalwood scent.

40 laps on the leather this morning and it was go time. Went with my standard three pass shave of WTG, XTG and ATG with no drama to report. That was a fantastic shave! Had a lot of slickness from the Proraso and the Dovo made really quick work of that two days of growth. A very comfortable shave and I am BBS for the win! That's how to start a day right there. Wrapped everything up with a quick rinse and towel dry. A glug of the AS and everything was right as rain! I am almost "That guy", but I don't think I quite made it there. No worries, I smell great though. Ok let's see what this day has in store for us. Life is good!

Home Front-
Typical busy work week and it sounds like they may be piling more on us soon. My thumb is still a bit sore from shooting that nail into it on Sunday. Luckily it was only an 18 gauge nail and it only went in about 1/4", so minimal damage. Short week with Friday off. Man, I can sure use a long weekend. The only plans I know of at the moment are for Saturday. My stepdaughter is getting married. Oh and some car work to do on Sunday, but I think that's it so far.
