Shave Count (DE: 290 SR: 237)

Pre Shave-
Splash and go

Shave-
Torrey SR
Zenith boar
CF Sherlock soap

Post Shave-
Post shave lather
Warm water splash
CF Sherlock AS

The process-
Changed a couple of bits out this morning. I changed out the razor for Torrey Tuesday. I also decided that it was time to shelf the badger for a bit and go back to boar. Went with a 20 second load again today and whipped up a really nice lather that smelled great. Have enough for a three pass shave and a post shave lather.

Hit the Torrey with 50 laps on leather and it was go time. Kept the standard three pass shave of WTG, XTG and ATG with no drama to report. The Torrey is kinda cool in that it is very audible. The shave was good, but not most awesome. In spite of all of the feedback, it wasn't laying waste to everything in it's path. However, I am a solid DFS for the win, so I'll take it. And I guess this one goes back to the stones for a touch up.

Home front-
Same same. Life is good.

I was so tempted to grab a boar today. They are underappreciated. Great shave. Have a great day, Tim!

Nice shaves TIm! I would use my boar more often but I usually don't have the time to let it soak long enough during the week. It's kind of become a weekend luxury.

I’m splash and go. Mine soaks while I strop my razor and grab soap. So couple of minutes max.

I’ve been a little careless in my brush care and had been just laying then in the sink as I run the water and fill with the temp of the day. I use a mug now.

Very nice shave, Tim. Sherlock is probably my favorite CFG scent. I've been really close to pulling the trigger on that style of Torrey so many times it's crazy, but something always held me back.

Thanks Eric!

The Mother of Pearl and the blade lock is what sealed the deal for me. That and the price. I’m a cheapo and have a $10 max on razors. I just stalk the bay until I find a razor at or below my price point.

Nice! Most of those that I've seen were going for far more, and many of those were not in very good shape.

Pre Shave-
Shower and go

Shave-
J Allen SR
Zenith boar
CF Sherlock soap

Post Shave-
Post shave lather
Warm water splash
CF Sherlock AS

The process-
A morning shower and shave today. A bit different than my normal. Kept the same soap/AS and will run that fir the work week. 20 second load and cranked out a lot of great smelling lather.

50 laps on leather and the J Allen is good to go. Kept the standard three pass shave of WTG, XTG and ATG with no drama to report. An enjoyably slow shave and I am BBS for the win!

Wrapped everything up with a splash of the AS and everything was right as rain! Another great start to the day.

Home front-
The Wosty is slow going with the hand tools I’m using, so that will take a bit longer. That and I haven’t stayed on it. It’s a spare time thing. I think I’ll go ahead and take the other two to the stones in a day or two and see what I can do with the edges. Wife has a small procedure today. If you are inclined, please say a prayer for her and the medical tean. That’s all I have today. Life is good.
