Geo f trumper shave cream question..

I was gifted some Trumpers rose cream,and coral skin food.. I mainly use soaps, and am looking for some tips on how to face lather the crram. I don’t see the point in building the lather in a bowl first. I tried dipping brush in the tub, and then face lathering,but picked up enough cream for about 6 shaves..
maybe scooping out about an almond size of cream,rubbing it into the whiskers,and then building the lather on the face?
btw, if you havent tried Trumpers cream,they’re outstanding..especially the rose.. I haven’t heard much talk about Trumpers on this site..

Yes, this exactly. I did it with a cream in my last video if you want to see it.
