Some collecting info for anyone who looking to identify the date of a Zippo...

The Historic Zippo Logo​

Current Date Code System​

The current date code system uses a letter and two-digit number to identify the month and year of manufacture.

• Letters A thru L represent the month (A for January, B for February, etc.)
• The two digits correspond to the year it was made – 14 for 2014

I’ve only got 3 that are fairly modern (2000s and later); two regular and one pipe. They’re a fun piece of equipment even if they aren’t exactly fuel efficient lol. I’ll try to remember to post a picture later

Yeah, I don't use mine regularly, so it is usually out of fluid when I go to use it. There are other options... Butane Inserts.

Will keep it as a Table top lighter.

I agree, very cool.

I have my Grandmothers Slim Venetian Zippo and Her and my Grandfathers Zippo Table Lighter. Will post pics when I get a chance.

Lots of different ones over the years. Mine is a "Lady Bradford" and looks like this one...

No, not really. I believe they were produced in the 50's and 60's, but not even sure about that.
