What's your favorite soap you don't want to smell like?

This morning I pulled out the oh so delicious smelling CBL Roasted Oatmeal Stout. I could drown in the scent of this stuff. I was thinking how good it was, but also realized that I wouldn't want a scent that smells just like it. I would be walking around with people wondering why I smell like cookies.

So I'm curious, what's a scent that you really love in a soap, but you wouldn't want to smell like it the rest of the day? @Cvargo you better say banana!

It is true. Banana LOL.

But I have the Oatmeal Stout aftershave from @Cherry City Mustache and honestly it works as a scent. Not as cookie smelling in aftershave form.

Another one would be Cedar. I love the scent but for some reason when on my skin it just does not work.

Cedar works with other scents but it would be hard to smell like pure cedar all day. Lemon. Stirling pine scot or electric sheep, live the scent but hard to say I’d want to smell that way all day.

As you can guess, I wouldn't mind smelling like lemon all day. But it would have to be fresh lemon and not like I didn't wash my hands after using Pledge.

This is the main reason I don't usually buy aftershaves from Artisan Soap Makers. I love the scents in soap form, but I have no desire to have the matching scent in an aftershave. In aftershves I primarily stick with the classics.

The aftershave shelve(S) of yours are MUCH more than just classics.......but I understand

True Coffee! I have a few different "Coffee" scented soaps and aftershaves and while I like the scent of them for a bit...there is a reason I rarely reach for them. Believe me...I spill enough coffee on me that I have no desire to smell like it all day long. And for some reason...most coffee scented soaps come out smelling like my father-in-law's order from Starbucks...Venti Caramel Vanilla Latte with extra Caramel and Whipped Cream! That is seriously his order...every...single...time! When he gets it...it just smells sickening sweet to me!

I’ve got a friend who only buys matching sets. Makes no sense to me at all.

I never understood people that only buy matching sets as MANY times that is not possible and would be missing out on some great products.

As for scents i would not like to smell like all day a few would be:

Smoke- Darkfall, Roam, or any other heavy smoky scents.

Banana- i agree about this one, smells nice but not as a A/S. Same goes for other fruity heavy scents like Pineapple, Apple, or Blueberry.

Heavy Leather scents can be difficult as well. ENGLISH Leather is decent but some Leather heavy scents can be a bit too much.

The nice thing is there is so much variety that there is something for everyone and depending on your mood the choices can be endless.

Tobacco
Rose
Whiskey / Beer scents
Earthy / Wet Dirt scents
CBL's Money scent - dangerous in certain parts of town... ;)
I think I’m ok with good tobacco type scents but there is a line. Same with rose and carnation, maybe just a strength and how long a day we are talking. Money is definitely all about strength, too strong and it gives me a headache but as a light background scent you are right, certainly street characters and those within the political and legal system start circling.
