What have you learned today?

I always enjoyed this thread in another forum.

Hopefully this will gain traction here as well. I’ll start.

I face lather with a hard soap (Tabac today) for a three pass shave. Generally I load the pre-soaked brush well and continue to use the same loaded brush for all three passes. Today, I added a few drops (3 or 4) of water to the soap and swirled my brush a few times over the soap before my second and third passes. The second pass lather was similar to my usual routine, but the third pass lather was an improvement from the less than 5 seconds of freshening the brush.
