The Hobbyist section is intended to offer TSC member Hobbyists a means to promote their artisanal wares to the members of the TSC Forum for Profit. TSC does not warrant, endorse or promote any specific Hobbyist or their products.
TSC is not responsible for any and all transactions or promotion that are false, do not meet expectations, or for a member not living up to their end of an agreement.
In other words: SELLER/BUYER BEWARE. This is a storefront, but not in the traditional form, and by participating in the Hobbyist Section, you understand that you must be:

A Hobbyist that fabricates, produces, or otherwise makes the product being offered. No re-sales of any type will be allowed or tolerated. All sales are done at your own risk.
The following rules apply:
Chris (CBLindsay) is the administrator who oversees the Hobbyist Section, questions can be directed to him, however, it is always encouraged however to include Dave (HandlebarberDave) and Chad (CVargo) in any communications in case Chris is away for a period of time. (Yes we all do have lives outside of TSC)
We do promote interaction on other areas of the thread and encourage you to answer any questions as they arise in other thread, however do not Shill! Either refer the conversation back to your hobbyist thread or have them contact you off post.
Bad mouthing or harmful statements to ANY other hobbyists or their items is STRICTLY prohibited and will result in the loss of your hobbyist badge and possible permanent removal from The Shaving Cadre.
Again this is buyer-beware and as a hobbyist you may not please everyone and that or those persons can make comments on their behalf. Deal with all complains off post both as a hobbyist and potential customer. Debates, arguments, or un- gentlemanly behavior will result in your immediate removal
Failure to comply with the above information can result in you losing access to the Hobbyist Section, account suspension, or being banned.
By posting an ad for hobbyist work, and engaging in this section of the forum you are agreeing to the above rules in addition to our sites Terms of Usage. Again any violation of these requirements will have your privileges in the Hobbyist Section revoked and possibly you being BANNED from the TSC forum.

- Hobbyist applicants must send a PM addresses to all owners requesting Hobbyist approval, badge and access to hobbyist section
- Once approved by the ownership, you will be Invoiced to PayPal the Sum of $30.00 ( annual Fee)
- Once verified you will receive your Hobbyist badge and will be given access to set up your thread

- You must be a registered member of TSC.
- In order to post in this section you must have 35 quality posts, and at least 30 days of membership. You also must be active in the forum. If it is determined that you are only using your membership at TSC in order to promote your product and use the hobbyist section of our site, you will lose access to the Hobbyist Section, and have your account suspended, or maybe banned.
- All Hobbyists will pay a fee. That fee will be $30.00 per year. This will payable to the TSC via PayPal only Prior to any posting in the Hobbyist Section. PLEASE NOTE, the ownership reserves the right to increase these prices at any time, and or terminate the program with no refund of current fees. Prices will not be increased for a current term, only at renewal.
- Renewal notifications will be sent out approximately 30-days prior to your renewal. Failure to pay by your expiration date will result in your badge being removed and access removed as a Hobbyist.
- As a Hobbyist you WILL be allowed to indicate you are a Hobbyist and the wares that you fabricate, however NO sales will take place in this section (or any other section), nor will prices, custom options, or any other items that would constitute a storefront be allowed to be included in your posts. This MUST be done “off-post” For Example:
“Custom Brushes by Dave” (a picture of some of your work) and contact information. That is all. - As a Hobbyist you are expected to refrain from “plugging” or asking others to plug your products in other forum threads. This does not mean members are prohibited from mentioning or discussing your products on the forum, we just ask that, as a Hobbyist, you refrain from turning those threads into a personal sales pitch or de-facto store front. You are not prohibited from contacting members via PM but using the Messaging system to mass distribute sales sheets or information is strictly prohibited and WILL result in your account being suspended or banned.
- No negotiation in the thread. Please use Telephone, and E mail for the transactions.
- You can use any source of your choice to engage in transfer of funds. Here at TSC we believe that, due to its buyer and seller protections PayPal is the safest method and would recommend that. We also recommend using Goods and Services. Asking for payment via a way that does not incur fees is PROHIBITED.
- What items can you sell? We ask that they please correlate to the main theme of the forum. Offering to sell alcohol, tobacco, firearms, drug paraphernalia, any illegal substance, pornography, etc. is STRICTLY prohibited. In other words keep it relevant to what this site is about. Failure to comply with this rule will result in being banned.
