My understanding is that the company moved to Cranford, New Jersey in 1960 and the name was changed to J. B. Williams Co. Inc. The company remained there until 1999.
KJ is the Williams expert so hopefully he will set the record straight.
Vintage Williams is some of the best vintage soap.

I can't find my stuff on it. The Wiki over there should have that info. But I'm sure John is right. Either way, it's great stuff. I have heard, but never been able to substantiate the claim, that the Luxury soaps were rose scented. I have a few pucks of it, but never used it.

Thanks, KJ. Yes, I read the same thing that the Luxury was rose scented. Of course, that's long gone now. I did a test lather last night, and it whipped up a nice lather, but I think I need to hydrate the puck more as I also test lathered the Colgate Cup soap and it had a better lather than the Williams.
Oh, and you've tried the frosted lime? How's it compare to vintage Avon Island Lime just for a reference?
