It’s no secret, I LOVE vintage shaving soap. These vintage beauties come in all shapes and sizes, pucks, tubs, bowls, rolls etc. I’ve decided to focus on vintage soaps during the month of October and post a few photos along the way.

Here’s a few to get started....

I only have one, but I'll get it in before KJ floods the next 12 pages with his.


 
Ok, here goes.

My first love in vintage soaps is, of course, Williams.

I have 2 Williams Soaps in wood bowls.


This is is only the second time I’ve opened this tub. That’s the seal that was on the tub next to it.

This is is the first time I’ve peeled back the paper on the soap.

Williams Tonsorial


Williams Shaving Powder, all full.

Williams Shave Sticks

74 Vintage soap pucks, including 5 Menthol pucks.

Old Spice, 2 mugs w/soap.



3 refill pucks


Colgate


Surrey

Barbershop Luxury

Empty, but still cool containers.


Some of these you you may or may not consider vintage, but I do.

Ralph Lauren Safari

Pen’s EF - Tallow

Gents Best. One of the very early artisans. Amazing soap, and scent.

These Saint Charles Shave Soaps are old and were made by Sue, who is no longer with us. The Refined scent is the same as the Gents Best Signature.

Yep, still got some.

Well, I consider "vintage" to be pre-2013, since that's when I traded my Edge gel for shave soap. By that criterion, my only one is the old formula Crabtree & Evelyn Nomad. It's not the best performing soap I've used but it's good enough and it's one of my favorite scents.

One of these days I'll buy a puck of vintage Williams.
 
Oh KJ the English Fern Tallow is on my want list. The veggie was horrible and I really want the Tallow. One day I'll find a puck. Also those are really cool the Williams powder have you shaved with it yet?

I have the veggie reformulation as well. Not great. and no, I’ve never got around to trying the powder, yet.
 
Have a semi vintage from @1980 but have my 1st vintage vintage puck coming off the bay. Reasonable price with a plain white mug and an every ready brush for $8
 
Okay...no wonder I can't find any vintage soap in my parts of the world! YOU GUYS HAVE IT ALL!!!
