I do enjoy jeans and the occasional khaki, but I wear some type of short as many days out of the year as is manageable.

I’ve not worn jeans/dungarees since childhood. I remember trying to buy a pair (I remember the day) in 1985 a female friend talked me into it. And for the reasons Tony so eloquently put it She waved it off. She laughed so hard I was so uncomfortable in them. i Believe this was before pre-softened jeans.
