TNNSER razor.

I have a special razor on loan and I thought I would share my thoughts. This is the TNNSER. It is a 3d printed razor, a first for me. It reminds me of @Dave in KY 's Ender.

This razor takes Gem style blades. Loading is easy. The cap slides forward on tracks on the side of base plate to remove it and slides up to put it on. The blade is held in place by little tabs.

This razor is light! Almost like nothing is there. The shave is pretty straightforward with no problem finding the angle. Also being so light it seemed very mild. The head is a little bulky which made it hard to get up under the nose (but maybe I'm just spoiled by my Vector).

2 passes and I got a great shave.

We’re going to need to see a video of it’s loading and use.....

My son is an engineering student and does a bit of 3D printing at home of concept work for parts he’s working on for the schools formula 1 (3/4 size I think) race car. He also prints some open source stuff like statues that hold plants (a baby groot that holds a little cactus). I’ve asked him to do shaving stuff for you guys but he never seems to get around to it. I’d like to get a nice carbon fiber printed version of something that is proven to work well.

So after a few searches for anything regarding this razor, it appears the files are available for non commercial use. So you can print one yourself, if you have access to a printer.

If you wanted the file you could have asked.

Cool, John. I've seen them before and find them intriguing. Just never enough to hunt down one. A video would be cool. Your thoughts seem to mirror what I've read about it being light, hard to get under nose etc. Thanks for sharing 👍

God i need to get a 3d printer..i dont have one yet.....

I'm curious about the psychology that would all one to post videos of themselves doing hot challenges and getting all bugger nosed, but a shave video is a bridge too far. Discuss. 🧐
