Swedish strawberries are glorious, and for me, is kind of an indication that summer is beginning. I believe these are Malling Centenary strawberries. All I know is that they're delicious.

They do look great! Here in Louisiana we have a winter crop of strawberries that come in around the end of January and then we have our spring crop that comes in around March. Our strawberries stay in season until about the end of June. This was a half flat I got from our local farmers market back in March!
Those are gorgeous.
The only strawberries we get in the city are when we scrape our leg on the side of a building. Or frozen from Mexico.
