March 15th. Why is that date important? Well, it is the day we officially launched as a forum two years ago. We are approaching our second anniversary and with how successful our first anniversary brush was we want to offer an anniversary grab bag to our members for purchase, with all profits going to the TSC fund in order to keep the site up and running.
TSC is ran by 3 friends who came together with a common goal and invested our own money to fund the start-up and initial operation of the forum. Now, after just 2 short years it is self-sustained which is quite the feat (and weight off our shoulders). This is the biggest profit maker of the year and aside from donations, vendor fees, and hobbyist fees this is what keeps the lights on and makes upgrades possible. We have stated that we are not opposed to going the way of placing ads on the forum to increase revenue but we are trying to avoid that as long as possible as we do like the cleaner look of not having ads in different places on the site.
So anyways, what do you get? Well, we are happy to say that 3 of our vendor/artisans have agreed to help us they are Lisa’s Natural Herbal Creations, Stirling, and CBL Soaps. Here is what you will get:
Lisa’ created an exclusive scent called Barber Shoppe. This is a wonderful take on the classic scent with a citrus undertone to it. Guys this stuff smells awesome! Plus you get it in her matching balm too!
Stirling gave us the ability to purchase a soap and splash combo from the current catalog and we chose the Scent Hipster which is described as, “He's masculine and perfectly groomed. You can practically feel the softness of his beard, the plaid of his shirt, the strength of his coffee. He is a hipster. This scent boasts of amber, coffee, musk, leather, and wood are rounded out by citrus, floral, and vetiver notes.”
CBL Soaps is also working on a new scent just for this release. More to come on this…
Okay yes I know that right there, you are probably ready to sign up right? Well wait there is more! In addition to the above we decided to use some of our reserves add some one of a kind items as well!

You will get all of this for $85, and that includes shipping! Our international members should be able to pay close to the same price, but we will coordinate with you. We are assuming that since we cannot ship alcohol based liquids that the $85 price will still be sufficient or close. But please understand that due to shipping we may need to charge you a little more.

This is not required but is an opportunity to provide an extra donation to The Shaving Cadre. So for example you will be billed for $85, and there will be a tip line. Any amount that you agree to pay above the $85 will ALL go into the TSC general fund to be used towards site expenses. Again this is NOT required but is greatly appreciated.
