I was pretty surprised when he invited me back. He said he’s got visitors from all over the world going into his shop.

That's what it looks like. That's a flat top scissor sharpening machine, but it's the only thing I see there. Dovo uses a flat grinding wheel similar to that at the factory to set their bevels, but at least attempts to put an edge on with a coti afterwards. Not an edge I'd want to try personally if that's all they use. Hopefully there was something else in there we just didn't see.
Cool place, thanks for sharing with us. We used to have a local guy that sharpened EVERYTHING but when he dies the family just couldn't deliver the same quality. That guy looks and sounds like he knows what he's doing. We will have to add that location to our Las Vegas meet up tour.
