The Dollar Store Razor Challenge

Chad is doing his bad blades series and it seems fitting that a few of us join in the fun. But, naturally, just using a bad blade isn't good enough. Dave In KY was kind? enough to acquire for us several Dollar Store razors with blades. So, who is up for a Bad Blade Stunt Shave? Dave purchased 10 of these lovely sets, he and I will be joining in the fun. So, I need 8 volunteers for some bad blade fun. Who's interested?




The razor appears to be a Chinese Super Speed clone like the Weishi. The blades are definitely an unknown. It should be fun seeing just how bad these are.

I have been down this road. The razor was cheap but the shave wasn't bad.

I’ll try this again. I did this once before and it was...interesting. Some guys have gotten really good Shave’s out of this razor.

We still have 5 slots available for this challenge. I hope there are at least a few more takers. It should be lots of fun.
 
So are we going to all try and use these on the same day or just post here when we use them?
 
I was purposely holding out, seeing as I have the bad blade review, and have some of these blades in possession already for review. BUT if there is not enough interest then I will gladly at least review the razor here. NurseDave wants to do it too.

Good question. I think we should probably go with option B. I will send them out and people can post about them as they receive them.
 
Haha yeah Chad, the blades I sent you were from my first go around with this challenge at the other place. Now you’ll have 5 more to use!!!
